1. Time Limit will be 1 hour. (Next teams should warm up on the sidelines and ready to take the field and play.)
2.
Catchers must wear helmet w/ mask and stand behind and to the side
of batters box while players are batting.
3. Batting order will consist of all players. No outs or score will be recorded.
4. All batters and base runners must wear helmets while on field. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5. Only one batter shall warm up in the designated batter’s circle. All others must remain on bench – for obvious safety reasons. This rule must be strictly enforced by coaches.
6. All batters will hit the ball off the tee. The ball must be hit fair for the batter to run.
| The batter will have up to six attempts to put the ball into play with a fair hit; including strikes, fouls or balks. | |
| If a batter strikes out he/she must return to the dugout. | |
| The ball must be hit past the line to be a fair hit, considered “in play.” |
7. If an out is made at a base, the runner must return to the dugout.
8. There is no base stealing.

Absolutely NO HEAD FIRST SLIDES,
The runner will be OUT.
10. All players on the team should take field positions, six in the infield, including the pitcher’s mound, all others in the outfield, which means behind the base lines
11. All players are expected to attempt to make the play at the bases,
| not simply “Throw it to the pitcher” to stop the play. | |
| Outfielders should be taught to throw to the second base player. Coaches in field should direct play in this manner. |
12. Coaches will act as umpires
13. Coaches positions:
| On Offense - may have a coach at home and each base. | |
| On defense - may have one coach between 1st & 2nd, and one between 2nd & 3rd bases, outside of the base line. |
14. The
coach at the plate will announce “Last Batter” in lineup. That batter, and
any on base, may advance until the catcher has the ball and steps on home plate.
At that time the ball and the play are dead.
15. The ball is dead when the catcher has position at home plate.
| If a runner is more than half way to the next base, they may take the base. | |
| If less than halfway, the runner must return to previous base. Coaches make this call. |
